I hope your new year started off on the right foot. And if it didn't, its never too late to start! Preparing for The Shift- The Art of Collaboration
Every time we turn the television on, hear the car radio or pick up a newspaper we are bombarded with the reality
of the change our planet is going through. Even if we try to cocoon ourselves away from the mainstream media, sometimes we simply cannot overlook the conversation at the water cooler or a family member or neighbor reminding us of what's going on in the world.
So, what is the one thing we can all do to make this transition easier? With so much hopelessness and despair permeating almost everything in life, what can one or two or three of us do? COLLABORATION! I know I know, its easy to type but what makes working together different now then any other time in our history?
The energies are finally present on the planet and many people are ready. Notice how many large corporations are creating partnerships with other corporations and coming up with products that combine the best that they both have to offer. Look at the global alliances and unions being created everyday. We see it in TV shows that bring a community together to build one of its needy members a better home. Grassroots movements are causing change en mass and social networking sites are the most popular on the Internet; facebook anyone? Add me! =o)
We all have something in abundance, something that we either have a lot of, are really good at, something that comes to us naturally. Its not just from the pocketbook, but an idea, an extra coat in the closet, a connection you can help someone make. The art of true collaboration brings all of these examples and many more to the forefront free of judgement and expectations while understanding that we are all interconnected. To create with a common will, always with the undercurrent of partnership and for the greater good.
The philosophy of isolation is a thing of the past and moving forward collaboration is essential to our success in 2012 and beyond. But it only works if there is a genuine and sincere intent. My question is, what can you be in collaboration with?

by a bright and luminous Venus. As Venus finds itself well placed
in the first part of January, it signifies love and affection but
also marks a period of impracticality such as lavish spending and
excess. This may mean that for the first part of January, consumers may
begin to spend, perhaps responding to government requests to stimulate the
economy through consumerism. However, looking closer at the astrological chart,
we find that the planet Neptune is within orb of Venus and exerting a
powerful influence.
It is a planet of illusion, glamour and deception. Its influence
teaches us that what we perceive of as reality is but a facade. This
becomes more abundantly clear as we further study the chart to find that
Mars is making its presence strongly known in the area of the zodiac that
traditionally governs villages, towns, cities; the places where the
people of a country live. In the beginning of January it finds itself too
close to the Sun to express its energy in a positive and constructive manner.
Instead, it signifies impatience, aggression, violence and war. It
is not suprising that Israel and Palestine found themselves embattled at
the cusp of this New Year. It is interesting to note that when Israel began
their bombing campaign of Gaza, Mars and Venus opposed each other in a
dramatic showdown in the astrological chart of the June ceasefire agreement.
As Mars is closely associated with the number 9 in numerology, and
we find ourselves in the 9th year of the 21st Century; Mars may represent
the overall theme for 2009 - violence, war, accidents, fires and
explosions. Looking further we find that Mars is placed in the sign
of Capricorn. Countries that are ruled by this sign such as
India,
Greece and Iran will be most affected. However, Capricorn also rules
over Lithuania and Mars, Russia. Therefore, we may see Russia in a
standoff with the USA in nearby Lithuania or Poland, given that both these
countries are participants in the US Missile Defence program.
Things
may begin to unravel by the first Full Moon of the Year (Jan 10)when
the Moon opposes the Mars of the January 1st chart. As the Moon rules
over Georgia, we may see a resurgence in the conflict with Russia as
Russia begins to engage the region in economic warfare and control over
energy resources. This may result in global economic tension towards the
end of January moving into the first week of February. As the Eastern Horizon
or Ascendent is ruled by Venus in this chart, the first signs of
distress
may reveal themselves in the Balkans where a battle between competing
interests over energy resources may reach its peak. |
I hope that this newsletter will inspire, move and bring forth action from people. I hope these articles can serve as a catalyst towards new models and ideas of success in spite of the trying times we find ourselves in and the even more trying times yet to come. What if every "thing" was taken away from us tomorrow, could we move past our egos and collaborate together to rebuild?
